Description:   The greater roadrunner is a formidable predator that will prey on just about anything. This interaction shows a roadrunner predating a juvenile cottonmouth which until now had not been documented in the natural history records. I'm happy to say that this interaction has officially been added to the natural history of the roadrunner expanding upon what is already known. Soon to be published in Herpetological Review.
